A chance to challenge your self and grow as and individual while making friends outside of our school.
Competitions happen several times a year. There are two different types and several different levels. They two types are Poomsae(forms) and Kyrugi (sparring).
Poomsae(Forms) is the Korean term used to describe the forms/patterns in Taekwondo. In Poomsae competitions, students go up against other who competitors who are around the same grade performing their form and are scored on different attributes.
Kyrugi (Sparring) is the Korean term used for sparring in Taekwondo. In this type of competitions, students go ahead to head against one another trying to defeat the other by scoring more points or by TKO (advance students and adults only)

Impact Taekwondo has been such a positive experience for my 7 year old son. Master Brown has created a warm, supportive environment where he is teaching children discipline, hard work, dedication and resilience. We have seen tremendous growth in our son in the few months that he has been going to Impact Taekwondo. Not only is he getting stronger, but he loves going twice a week and feels comradery and community with a great group of other kids. I highly recommend Impact Taekwondo!
I watched one of the competition classes a few weeks ago. Master Brown did an amazing job teaching the students of all ages and levels. It was awesome to see how he was able to motivate from the youngest to the oldest student. You can tell he truly enjoys his craft and teaching it to others.
Master Brown's competition class is amazing!

Master Craig and his partner are great with the students! My son who is usually shy is always eager to arrive at practice. Parents and guardians can sit and watch the sessions. They make the students feel comfortable. They challenge them to practice specific goals based on the student’s individual needs. I am very appreciative of the work they’re doing with my boy and his buddies. Lastly, we are excited to watch the program grow in our community. In a short period, they have already established a good presence and making a significant impact. Ubuntu! In health, -Bouba
My kids love going to Impact Taekwondo! If they don’t behave I tell them they won’t be going to taekwondo and it works like a charm. Craig is not only a highly skilled taekwondo master he is also very good with the kids!
We have had such a positive experience at Impact TKD. Master Brown has a great connection with the kids. He has really motivated my son to develop his skills. And as a former Olympian he is an incredible roIe model. I couldn’t recommend this program more highly!
TJ Parks hi
My 6yo daughter loves taking "karate" here, as do two of her friends (6 and 8). Craig and his wife are amazing instructors and do so well with the younger kids, which is not always easy, and they all have a great time in addition to learning discipline, concentration, and of course the moves. During Covid they've been very receptive to the environment and host on-line classes as needed, which I very much appreciate so our daughter still gets her karate and activity in for the day. Highly recommended.
Our both daughters are enrolled and they just love it! Master Craig is an awesome coach, very accommodating and flexible. He is very good with kids and always making sure everyone is engaged during the class. We will continue with him
Impact Taekwondo has been such an amazing opportunity for my 8-year-old! She absolutely loves it, and the sense of community that Master Brown and Kyla have created in a short time has been so meaningful. This has been such a positive experience for my daughter, and the fun she has while learning a valuable skill, in a supportive and positive environment has been so appreciated. Thank you Impact Taekwondo for coming to Milton and all you are doing for providing this experience! Can't thank you enough!
